Endpapers have yellow, black, and white illustration. 396 pages. The spine strip and the boards' extremities are faded. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip are a little frayed. The text block ends are darkened; the top end is a little mottled with small scraped spots; the foredge has small stains. DJ: 1st state; $2.50 original price; the back flap has a continuation from the front flap; front flap's fold, spine and back panels are darkened; ends of folds and top edge of spine panel are chipped; 5 ends of folds have closed tears; a fourth of the title block and a 1 x 1 1/2 in. white area of the sky are mottled by tiny stains; the back panel has light stains.
