Very light toning to spine, with some rubbing… and a few small nicks to spine ends. Some rubbing and very light bumping to corners of boards. Toning to first blank page, which is appears to be a slightly acidic laid paper. This page has a name written at its head, with some light chipping to the extremities of the page, and a 30 mm closed tear at the tail. Mild toning to half-title page. Interior otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding firm. An excellent copy of the first edition of Gulland's classic work on Chinese ceramics. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good.
