Ink gift inscription to lightly tanned ffep and newspaper cutting glued to fep. Rear free ep also lightly tanned, o/w contents very good ++, illustrated in b & w and colour. A nice tight copy.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. Photographs etc. (illustrator). 1st Edition. 276pp, plus 16pp of Publishers' adverts at the end. Decorated blue cloth with gilt (faded) title to the spine. With eight coloured plates two Plans and numerous other illustrations including photographs. The book is printed on glossy paper and has a frontis with tissue guard complete. Some knocks to the corners with rubbing to head and tail of the spine. Internally very clean although end-papers foxed. The front free end-paper has the signature of Keith Simpson M.P dated 1980 when he was the nSenior Lecturer in War Studies and International Affairs at R.M.A. Sandhurst. This book from his private library. A very good copy with an interesting association.
