This volume is the first of a series which recorded the results of explorations in Egypt planned and financed by Mr. Eckley B. Coxe, Junior, of Philadelphia. By an agreement made with the University of Pennsylvania in 1907, the expedition was to be conducted for five years on behalf of the University, and the antiquities obtained would be presented to the University Museum. The authors, curator and assistant - curator of the Egyptian Department of the Museum, were charged with the duty of conducting the excavations and publishing the results. Illustrated with no less than 43 leaves of plates, this volume is devoted to the exposure, processing and recording of archaeological remains at Areika, a Nubian settlement near a fortress of the Eighteenth Dynasty. Revised Draft script for the 1971 Euro-Western (aka "Euro Western") film, a US-UK co-production shot in Spain. Notations throughout in manuscript pencil. Euro-Westerns were made quickly and on tight budgets, and scripts for them are rare. Based on L'Amour's 1963 novel. Catlow (Brynner) is a renegade outlaw determined to pull off a gold heist, after having served in the Civil War, where he met Ben (Crenna), a marshal tracking him down. The journey leads to Mexico, where Catlow may just change his ways. Shot on location in Spain. Blue titled wrappers, rubber-stamped copy No. 11, dated in ink 3/25/71. Title page present, dated March 10 and March 25, 1971, with credits for screenwriter Finch and novelist L'Amour. 112 leaves, with last page of text numbered 117.
