Number 264 of a limited edition of 300 numbered copies.The contents include: "Frederick Harer - Etcher An Appreciation" by John Cournos, "Isadora Duncan Dancing" by Louis Untermeyer, "On Applause in the Theatre" by Gordon Craig and "This Youth - Gentlemen! A Play in Two Scenes" by Margaret Scott Oliver writing pseudonymously - "Translated from the Hungarian of Etga Arrm by S. Thuner". George Wolfe Plank (1883-1965) was an American illustrator and designer of magazine covers. A self-taught artist, he worked in factories and department stores before moving to Philadelphia where he edited and printed The Butterfly Quarterly with Margaret H. Scott, Alice Smith, and Amy Smith from 1907-09. In 1911 he was hired by Vogue and continued to supply illustrations and cover designs for the magazine until 1936.
