In den WarenkorbCricket book. The only full length cricket biography of the explosive Hampshire and West Indies opener who, with Desmond Haynes, formed one of the most destructive opening pairings ever seen. 8vo. 207pp. 16 pages of photographs. Dust-wrapper, good. The book has previously been damp and so the page block is warped and there is some mild staining to covers and pages. No text is affected and the book is now fully dry and perfectly readable. Fair condition. Signed nicely (not dedicated) by Greenidge to title-page. This page and other endpapers are signed by a further 30 Hampshire or West Indian cricketers through the ages - these include Robin Smith, Gower, Malcolm Marshall, Desmond Haynes, Barry Richards, Jesty, CJ Knott, Sainsbury, Shackleton, Nicholas, Terry, Connor, Tremlett, Stephenson, Ayling, Aymes, Middleton, Cottam, Gray, Rogers, Barnard, Rice, Reed (twice), James, Shepherd, Taylor, Gillat, Maru and Herman. A card signed by Everton Weekes is laid down to front pastedown.
