En él explica cómo fue desde Tudela hasta el Egipto fatimí pasando por todos los espacios próximos al Mar Mediterráneo, incluyendo Palestina y los Santos Lugares. En esta obra podemos ver recogidas no solo una relación de las descripciones que hace el autor sobre los países que visitó, sino que podemos observar cómo retrata con detalle a las comunidades judías presentes en aquellos lugares, añadiendo información de algunos territorios que no visitó en persona, llegando a incluir la judería de la ciudad china de Kaifeng.
