An entirely original comic opera, in two acts, Produced at the Lyric Theatre London, London, under the Management of Mr Horace Sedger, on January 4th, 1892. Vocal scores with piano. 2 pages of adverts at the back. Fawn cloth bound with gilt lettering to the front still bright and faded gilt lettering to the spine. The corners are bumped. The edges are worn and part of the top and bottom of the spine board is missing. Geometric patterned paste down end-papers have staining. The binding, hinges and joints are relatively tight. The print block is clean and unfoxed.

1st edition. Very good copy in the original gilt-blocked cloth. Spine bands and panel edges slightly dust-toned and rubbed as with age. Remains particularly well-preserved overall. With a bookplate.
