In den WarenkorbHardcover. Zustand: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Quarto hardcover binding of the first volume, comprising all issues published between 1915 and 1932. As a result of Mander's death, only three issues of the second volume were produced. This first series were bound together with an added preface in December 1933; and is hand-signed 'Gerald P. Mander' to the front free endpaper. The original covers are bound into the rear of the volume. 400pp, plus unpaginated index to rear. Eleven tissue-guarded plates, with a further 15 illustrations in text. Measures approx. 10.5" x 8.25" (26.5cm x 21cm). Some marking and discolouration to spine cloth. Small bumps to board corners at lower fore edges, though nothing too offensive. Showing slight partial gauze at front gutter; binding square and firm throughout nonetheless. A little relatively light foxing at closed edges; ditto the endpapers and occasionally thereafter. Nevertheless, contents still clean and bright throughout. Remains a very good original example.
