Two vintage publicity photographs from the 1948 film. During a visit to a small town, a traveling salesman is held captive by the authorities, who wish him to compete in the town's annual race. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus.
