Shultz (1920-2020) enjoyed a long career in the public and private sector. He served as Secretary of Labor then Secretary of the Treasury for President Richard Nixon, and later served as Secretary of State for President Ronald Reagan. In the private sector, he was the president of Bechtel Group, and he was a board member and investor in Theranos Corporation, which collapsed in disgrace in 2018 due to massive fraud. He was also a member of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.

Während der erste Band (1962) Dokumente zu Prozessen gegen Täter aus den Konzentrationslagern Buchenwald und Sachsenhausen sowie dem Ghetto Tschenstochau enthält, konzentriert sich der zweite Band auf den sogenannten Ulmer Einsatzgruppen-Prozess. Der Prozess begann am 28. April 1958 vor dem Schwurgericht Ulm und richtete sich gegen zehn Gestapo-, SD- und Ordnungspolizeiangehörige. Sie gehörten zum Einsatzkommando Tilsit, das dem Reichskommissar Walter Stahlecker unterstand. Der berichtete im Oktober 1941 seinem Chef Heydrich im Reichssicherheitshauptamt (RSHA), daß sein 'Einsatzkommando Tilsit' (auch bekannt als SK Tilsit) bereits zwischen Juni und Septemer 1941 insgesamt 5.502 Menschen Juden und Kommunisten ermordet hatten. Der Prozess gilt als Wendepunkt in der justiziellen und öffentlichen Aufarbeitung des Nationalsozialismus. Fritz Bauer nutzte das Verfahren, um seine jahrelange Forderung nach Rechtsverfolgung von Naziverbrechen durchzusetzen: er beteiligte sich als Herausgeber an der Dokumentation 'KZ-Verbrechen vor deutschen Gerichten', er betrieb die Gründung der 'Zentralen Stelle der Landesjustizverwaltungen in Ludwigsburg' (1958), er forcierte die Vorbereitung des 1. The folder contains portraits of the show's characters in coloured solio-chrome plates in full stage costume. Title page with portraits of the show's writer, H. J. W. Dam, the producer, George Edwardes, and the composer of the music, Ivan Caryll. Folio loose in folder 13½'' x 10¼'' which contains 11 plates plus the title page plate. The Solio-chrome process was carried out by by Waterlow and Sons of London, with the negative photographs taken by Alfred Ellis. Cracking and soiling to the spine edges of the folder, the plates have very light thumb marks to the margins, without any tears or chips to the plates. Member of the P.B.F.A. STAGE & THEATRE.
