The first four volumes has a photographic frontispiece of a Medieval illustration with tissue guard, 6 engraved B&W plates of astrolabes in vol.III, Armorial bookplate of Harold A Wernher to each volume with signature to front blank end papers.Original black buckram lettered in gilt. Some occasional light rubbing to head and tail of spines. The bindings clean and tight with no splits or staining. A very good set. A heavy set postage will be greater than ABE quote.

Second Edition. Black cloth boards with copper particulars to front board and spine. Cream paper dust jacket with text and design. All 7 dust jackets protected in mylar.
