Illustrated with 8 full page colour plates of flies on card + numerous text and full-page illustrations from photographs line drawings etc. The colour plates clean and free of foxing, some cracking to rear gutter, bookplate to front paste down. Publishers' maroon cloth with gilt title and salmon fly to the upper cover within black ruled borders, gilt title and fly to the spine. Some mottling and discoloration the cloth, rubbing to lower outer corners. A good + tight copy with no splits to the binding. . A monumental work with description of around 300 flies and direction on Salmon fishing.
