Mallary as Secretary of State, with the original seal still attached. Damp-stained at the bottom margin with weak folds that have been reinforced with tape on the back. Note: Mallary… would become a long-time Representative of Vermont in Congress. Good condition. American Revolutionary War patriot who was a captain in the Green Mountain Boys under Ethan Allan; participated in the Battle of Bennington on August 16, 1777. He later served as the 6th and 8th Governor of Vermont.
