Roodscreens and roodlofts are decorative partitions found between the chancel and the nave of a church. They are typical features of late medieval religious architecture. Bond and Camm document this architectural screenwork, focusing on different regions, such as Cornwall and Devon.With 131 plates and 130 further pages containing illustrations. Collated complete. With bookplates to front paste down of both volumes. Including frontispieces of examples of roodscreens at Saint David's Cathedral and Ashton Church in Devon. In publisher's original cloth binding.
