Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. 1st Edition. Dark green cloth. 8vo. 265pp. Tan printed dust jacket. After the sudden death of Carrie Rafferty her close friend Charlotte E. Dresser turned to automatic writing in an attempt to communicate with her. This book transcribes the "messages" she received from "Sis" (Charlotte) and "Dee", a deceased American woman who supposedly acted as a guide to new arrivals in the other world. There is a blurb by Arthur Conan Doyle on the front of the jacket. A very good copy with some light wrinkling to the cloth spine. The text is good with some scattered foxing and a few lightly creased pages. The jacket is worn with some browning and spotting. It lacks large pieces at the top of the spine and upper front panel.
