In den WarenkorbFirst edition, first printing. 8vo. xi, [3], 207, [1] pp. Original red cloth, spine lettered in black, dust jacket (heavy spotting to edges of text block and outer leaves; exterior rather dampstained with a few patches of staining to jacket and cockling to cloth on the front cover, jacket heavily worn with chipping and loss to extremities, a good copy only). New York and London, Harper & Brothers Publishers. The rare first edition of the important example of pre-war investment analysis by a female author - a fair copy, but retaining the rare dust jacket. Orline D. Foster was a prolific writer on finance and investment, and one of very few women active on Wall Street in the early twentieth century, having launched her career by investing her inheritance following the death of her husband.
