Buen estado. // Andrés Carranque de Ríos (Madrid, 1903-1936), que ejerció en su adolescencia diversos oficios (ebanista, vendedor, marinero, modelo, albañil) fue poeta… posmodernista ("Nómada", 1923), actor (en "Al Hollywood madrileño" y la inconclusa "San Ignacio de Loyola", ambas de Nemesio Sobrevilla, o en "Zalacaín el aventurero") y, sobre todo, narrador: "Uno" (1934, con prólogo de Baroja), "La vida difícil" (1935) y "Cinematógrafo" (1936) son sus novelas, todas de corte autobiográfico. Los cuentos, publicados en revista, no se recogieron en volumen hasta 1970 ("De la vida del señor Etcétera y otras historias", Helios, Madrid). Murió de cáncer al poco de iniciarse la guerra civil. Le tocó ser una de las figuras desplazadas de la nómina del 27 // Esta es la primera monografía que se le dedicó. Fortea, que reeditó "La vida difícil" en Turner en 1975, se encargó también de la edición de su obra completa (Ediciones del Imán, Madrid, 1980). Posteriormente, el editor Manuel Borrás le dedicó una semblanza en el volumen "Oscura turba. De los más raros escritores españoles" (Xordica, Zaragoza, 1999) //.
