Its major exhibition for 1994, entitled "Jades from China", features over 350 Chinese Jades, including more than 200 pieces from the Peony Collection, from neolithic times right up to the early 19th century, spanning a period of approximately 7000 years. The exhibition is certainly the most comprehensive exhibition of Chinese jade anywhere outside China for many years.
