Now largely forgotten, Forrest's books, always illustrated by his reverend brother, were highly popular from the 1950s to the 70s. Stock lightly toned, but otherwise all in VG internal order. Former owner's name in pencil to title page. Blue card covers lightly worn to edges, moreso to spine, and rather toned. This is a charity sale on behalf of Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 8vo. 32pp.

In the original hardcover boards. Externally, both volumes are in excellent condition. Small amount of bumping to the extremities. Boards to 'Saints and Sinods' are slightly sunned to edges, as is common with this work. Gift inscription to the recto of front endpaper to 'Saints.', 'To Nigel with love from Mary'. Prior owner's inscription to the front pastedown of 'Parson's'. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd spots. Very Good Indeed. book.
