The text was originally published as part of Publicaciones Museo Etnográfico, Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, serie A, IV, 141 y siguientes . The author, Justo P. Sáenz (hijo), 1892-1970, was a well-known Argentine folklore historian and novelist.
