Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. Early edition, no statement edition on the title page. Format, octavo, 202mm. Physical description, x, 431, Frontispiece and very many text illustrations. Contents clean and bright. Publisher's green cloth backed boards, the covers with a decorative outer frame in blind, the upper cover with a tre…e illustration in gilt in the centre. The spine is slightly faded, lettered direct and is very slightly rubbed at the head. Light brown endpapers, both hinges cracked .The verso of the front endpaper has an ink presentation dated 1869. Overall a near very good copy.
