Joints rubbed. Front joint has a 50mm split at head of spine, and another 50mm split in the middle of the joint. Quite heavy foxing to the endpapers, and to the 1st and 4th titles. The 2nd and 3rd titles are on paper stock that has only minor foxing. Contents of the volumes listed in ink handwriting on front endpaper. No original wrappers present. Rabbi Leib Aisack Falk was born in Bauska, Russia in 1889. "After serving from 1915 at Plymouth, England, he was chaplain in 1918-21 to the 38th-40th Royal Fusiliers (First Judeans) in Egypt and Palestine. In September 1922 he was inducted as second reader at the Great Synagogue, Sydney." - Geni, entry on Rabbi Leib Aisack Falk (1889 - 1957). [Scarcity note: At time of listing I could not find other copies of the 2nd (August Wunsche, 1870) and 4th (Bernhard Zimmels, 1886) titles listed on the market.]; Bound volume of 4 titles of Judaica, all in German.
