Vintage borderless reference photograph from the 1963 British film, showing actors Albert Finney and Susannah York. With manuscript ink annotations on the verso. From the collection of artist and author Duncan Hannah. Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Based on Henry Fielding's popular 1749 novel, wherein a young, good-natured man of questionable origins is turned loose on the world (and more to the point, the world's women). Nominated for ten Academy Awards and winning four, including Best Picture and Best Director. Set and shot on location in England. 7 x 9 inches. Near Fine.

Softcover. Zustand: Near Fine. Magazine. (8)pp. Single sheets printed both sides and secured with a staple. Very good with toning, mailing label, stamp and crease from mailing crease. Denise Levertov's copy, with the mailing label addressed to her. An influential mimeograph published by Jones and di Prima featuring some of the most important poets of the 20th Century. Unlike other magazines, this so-called "newsletter" was distributed via a mailing list, many of which were noted poets, journalists, critics, publishers and artists. For this reason, most copies were hand addressed or affixed with a mailing label and stamp, and folded for mailing. This copy is remarkably pristine with no writing, stamp, or label. It features contributions from Philip Guston, Fielding Dawson, Tony Weinberger, Joel Oppenheimer, Barbara Guest, and William McNaughton.
