Written by Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts, a British Victorian era general who became one of the most successful British military commanders of his time. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities and fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning and spotting to the endpapers. Very Good. book.
