In overall good condition with minor signs of handling and storage - original red cloth boards, with black titles to spine and front, have a couple of faint ink splashes to lower front. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read, owner's name to front pastedown and brief hand-written quote to ffep; slight tanning to prelims and page-ends but text and illustrations clean and clear throughout. From a private collection, not an old library book.

Fifth edition hard back binding in publisher's original nutmeg cloth covers, black title and author lettering to the spine and the upper panel. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. Contains 303 printed pages of text with monochrome humorous illustrations throughout. Slightly age darkened spine, corners creased, front free end paper missing and in Very Good condition, no dust wrapper. Member of the P.B.F.A. HUMOUR (Satire, Cartoon).
