Both printed on cream coloured, sturdy paper, with brown and black lettering to the covers and red designs to fronts. Both very clean and bright for their age. Internally, very clean and bright and tightly staple bound (slight rusting to staples). Both illustrated internally in black and white. Numbered as 10 and 15 pages respectively.…

A short introductory text is followed by 5 full-page illustrations of page areas, the foreword announces that 'It is expected that book publishers, paper suppliers, book printers and book binders will accept these recommendations and put them into practice by September 1970. By doing so it will reduce confusion (and possible variations) to the absolute minimum. paper in the recommended sizes is expected to be available early in 1970.'
