While the publication date for this copy remains 1948, it differs in the type of cloth used and the jacket is highlighted in pink. Either a pirated edition, or an unstated reprint from the Public Affairs Press. A true second printing appeared in 1954.

Split along rear hingeflap, secured by Japanese tissue repairs. A very good example of a scarce dust jacket.
