Sid. 29-48 innehåller kapitlet ?De aetate, usu & genuina explicatione runarum.?, vilket är ett hårt (oanständigt, enligt Warmholtz) angrepp på både Olof, Anders och Magnus Celsius skrifter om hälsinge- och medelpadsrunorna, och som startade en litterär fejd mellan Björner och Olof Celsius.
