8vo. pp [8], xiii, 192. Original publisher's illustrated beige cloth, lettered black on spine. Signed presentation from Arnold L. Haskell on the title page, "To the brilliant Leonora, who saw the beginnings of this, with every wish always, Arnold." Including a further presentation from Haskell, "Rededicated to Michael, with every wish always. Arnold." Covers slightly marked with slight soiling at edges, otherwise very good minus with clean text and plates.

Zustand: Good. - Octavo, gray cloth. The binding is bumped, soiled & lightly rubbed with some staining to the covers. The spine is foxed. xiii & 200 pages. Illustrated with 38 black-and-white plates, including a frontispiece. The pastedowns & endpapers are somewhat darkened and the flyleaf, frontispiece & title page are stained. There is occasional foxing & soiling in the rest of the book. Good. From the library of artist and architect Conwell Savage with his signature on the front endpaper.

Book appears to be 1st edition of 1931 in a later issue cheap edition (3s 6d) dust jacket, presumably later 1930s. Gift inscription dated 1939 on front pastedown. A few spots of foxing on fore-edge, with light scattered foxing in text; binding tight; dust jacket spine browned, with short tears at head; some shelf-wear & yellowing to jacket; dj protected in removable clear film Used - Good. VG hardback in Good dust jacket.
