After Francisi's immensely popular "Hercules," an onslaught of sword-and-sandal (known as "Peplum") films quickly followed. There were comedies, romances, adventures, and the occasional sci-fi romp. This stars Tina Louise (before her tenure with "Gilligan's Island") as Sappho, the "world's boldest beauty." 8 x 10 inches. Light corner creases, else Near Fine.

An ex-Arctic ship commander remembers the fallen members of a failed Italian expedition. A bobbed Claudia Cardinale lightens the film's desolation in her performance as Nurse Valeria. 8 x 10 inches, with no borders as issued. Light stains to the verso of one, else Near Fine.

Original French program for the 1959 Italian-French film, here under the original French title, "Nuits d'Europe." Lavish and compact, the program fits in a shirt pocket and unfolds to reveal four panels of bright primary colors, showcasing various performers seen in the film. An early "mondo" film, in keeping with what would become a predominantly Italian genre, documenting various nightclub acts around Europe. British rock groups, cabaret, circus clowns, magicians, and a lean towards the weird. Notable acts included Lily Niagara at the Crazy Horse Saloon, magician Channing Pollock, rock group The Platters, Spanish entertainer Carmen Sevilla, Rastelli clowns, and infamous transgender showgirl, Coccinelle (all are represented in images within the program). 3 x 5 inches, unfolds to 5 x 12.25 inches (12.5 x 31cm). He falls in love with a younger woman, and since divorce is illegal in Italy unless there is just cause (like catching your spouse committing adultery), he decides to find his wife another lover. That way he wont need to kill her. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with light creases and toning overall. Several pinholes to a few; one with a small chip and corresponding closed tears.

Duncan Hannah was a key figure in the burgeoning New York underground arts scene, befriending Andy Warhol and his superstars, Lou Reed, Allen Ginsberg, Patti Smith, Salvador Dali, and many others. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, his paintings were exhibited in the influential 1980 Times Square Show alongside work by Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several of his paintings are held in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Based on the real Salon Kitty, a cabaret and brothel used by Nazi secret intelligence to collect information on high-ranking SS commandants and foreign dignitaries during World War II. Heavily edited for its US release, with many political elements purged in order to market the film as a sexploitation production. Considered one of the progenitors of the Nazi exploitation genre.
