Printed dedication is a vers…e to Mark Twain. Gerard spent much of her life in Austria, where she met and befriended Mark Twain. Some marks to covers, slight nick at spine hinge and some rubbing else soud near vg with label oon the fep stating the book was presented to The Cruisers of the Fishery Board of Scotland.

Gerard spent much of her life in Austria, where she met and befriended Mark Twain Soundly rebacked with an archival repair at spine (which was splitting at centre and top edge but now in good order), a few marks and slight wear to covers, otherwise sound, near very good with clean text.
