Hardcover. Zustand: VG+. Howard Grieg (illustrator). Hardcover, no dust jacket. Tan cloth boards are nice and clean with only minor tanning along spine. Illustrated end pages are free and clear of any bookplates though front end page has previous bookseller's price penciled in corner which has since been erased. Gift inscription from the author which reads: "To Ann E. Schafer and remembrance of the pleasant days of the Seneca New Year's Festival" then it is signed by Edwin R. Embree. Edwin Rogers Embree (1883-1950) was one of the former vice presidents of the Rockefeller Foundation, president of the Julius Rosenwald Foundation (also known as the Rosenwald Fund), a writer, and president of the Liberian Foundation. Pages are clean and binding good, and overall nice copy graded as a Near Fine condition. See photos. Signed by Author(s).
