Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. Hardcover. Blue cloth over boards with gilt stamping on front cover and spine. Title and copyright pages dated 1884. 343 pages. In fair condition. Covers have a fair bit of discoloration and fading. Cloth is worn along edges and at corners. Slightly shelf-cocked. Front and rear gutters are cracked, but binding remains strong. Pages are foxed and unevenly toned, but free of other foreign markings. A fair reading copy.

This is an original complete 200 year old section taken from a broken volume (Vol 3 of the 5 vol set) and apart from some light age staining is generally in nice clean condition (see pics). Backstrip slightly faded, professionally recased retaining the backstrip and endpapers, large brown areas to all four endpapers, foxing mainly at the start otherwise a VG tight copy. First edition. Chapter on Dublin, Lakes of Killarney, Belfast and the Giant's Causeway.
