Edward Lear's unfinished text completed by Ogden Nash. In 1868, Edward Lear spent two months on the island of Corsica, where he made over three hundred drawings. The poem was written on the reverse of a page of notes but was unfinished in his lifetime. 31cms x 23cms. Unpaginated. Five full colour plates (including one double-page) + other drawings by Nancy Ekholm Burkett, illustrated endpapers. White slub cloth. VG.
