Covers are clean with light wear, mild rubbing at crown and foot of spine with partial fraying on top front corner of spine. Binding is loosened but secure; signatures shaken with partial tear along spine gutter on front endpapers. Pictorial DJ is lightly faded and toned with wear along edges, various small tears repaired on front and back with clear tape, wrapped in protective mylar. Pages are in good condition; generally clean with minimal wear and light uniform toning. B&W illustrations printed throughout with various fold-out maps charts, in B&W and color. 752 pages. Title page dated 1936. Ex-Library; blacked-out inventory marking on spine, bookplate on front attached endpaper reads "Warner Bros. Pictures, Inc. Research Department, Burbank, California." Loose card with withdrawals and returns of book slipped inside front cover. A nice copy. This volume comes from the Aviation collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling spent his lifetime teaching, writing, and collecting books on civil and military aviation. We are proud to house his Aviation collection, part of the extensive library which is his legacy.
