Two volumes of this community art magazine edited by poet Ron Padgett; his wife Patricia is listed as Assistant Editor. *TAP Journal* was the product of the "Writer in the Community" program, which brought Padgett and his wife to the northern part of South Carolina. Prints articles on sculptors, woodworkers, and muralists, local history (including "Black Lancaster") and articles titled "Comics in the Classroom," "How China Came to Lancaster," among other material. No. 2 prints "Driving Around," a collaboration between New York School Poet Larry Fagin and local photographer Bobby Bell, and Padgett contributes "The Amazing Inez Plyler" (about a local fossil collector) and "Nuts! An average day in the life of an artist" to No. 2, and "The Care & Feeding of a Child's Imagination" to No. 3. Two issues of a vibrant and very uncommon magazine of local art and history; *OCLC* locates just 10 serial entries.
