This is the biography/autobiography/memoirs of Rev. John Weitbrecht, missionary to Burdwan, compiled by his widow. It also contains a comprehensive history of the mission to Burdwan. "The simple record of what he did and felt, contained in his journals and letters, best presents his character to the reader." Cover has gilt titles to spine; blindstamped decoration to boards. Spotting to spine & boards. Slight fading to spine and slight wear to edges and corners of boards. Light foxing to edges. Slight foxing to end papers and light browning to end papers and page edges. Very mild soiling to FFEP. This is an ex-college library book but the only marks are small stamps to bottom ot title page & p. 51. Otherwise, book is in vg condition.
