Leather like teal embossed cover with gilt lettering on cover. Black leather binding on spine and corners that is fairly worn. Former owner's (Ben Safley) name in pencil on front blank end paper. Overall, VERY GOOD condition. Some print dealers harvest these books for the hand colored and interesting maps to sell individually. Each map is a snapshot during the 1870's as to how that area was defined; thus, very historic. 52 Maps and Plans of twenty-six plates. (BR) Box 37.
