No stated date c1930 - Muses Library edition (The Muses' Library of poetry was initially issued by London publisher Lawrence & Bullen in 1891, and the series ceased active publication. Routledge revived the series in 1904 and with Dutton in the US began publishing the old titles as well as new titles until the late 1930s. This book is the second volume of the poems of John Donne (c1571-1631), and includes his verse letters, epicedes and obsequies, satires, epigrams, and other works. The book is bound in the original blue cloth covered boards with gold titling and decoration on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling to the boards and bumping with a little bit of damage to the top of the spine. There is a faint water stain running along the top and spine edges of the boards and down the fore edge of the front board. The contents are tight and clean with a water stain running along the top edge and down part of the fore edge of the pages and the water has caused slight wrinkling to the top corner of the pages. There is no inscription.
