A valuable series of literary studies. In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, only minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Previous ownership ink inscription to the front pastedown, dated 1961. The dust wrappers unclipped with shelf wear, chipped to the head and tail of the spine, few closed tears to the wraps, tape repaired and reinforced to the spine and extremities internally to the wraps.
