Frederick R Chichester, who wrote predominantly under a pseudonym, was a prolific writer of novels in the nineteenth century. Despite the great number of novels he wrote, his works are rarely seen for sale. He is enclosing £25, 'yr verry [sic] moderate account & with many many thanks for all yr frieship [sic] & sincere regards'.
