Book is only a little worn and the spine is intact, in German books of this period bound in boards this is all too frequently not the case. Translated into German by Frida Ichak. Gottfried Benn und die Odyssee der Anni Bernstein, Mitteilungen der Gottfried-Benn-Gesellschaft, Heft 26, 10. Jahrgang. She was an intimate of Benn and an active member of the Weimar cultural scene; in particular she worked at the Drei-Masken-Verlag of Munich. She attempted to build a life after 1933 in the United States as a literary agent in the film industry but eventually died by suicide in 1938 in Switzerland.
