Prepared by the Oil Division team this is the Second Edition January 1947. 434pp., numerous photographs, plans and tables, including detailed bomb plots of each attack, starting in June 1940. Detailed assessment of the damage done and effect on production, much through interviews with senior members of the company. Interesting tables listing numbers of workers by nationality, including Russians and around 2,900 POW's.Rare item. Usual stamps, red number to blue card covers. Some modest wear, overall very good. Above average weight.

Cet ouvrage est divisé en deux parties. La première partie renferme des données historiques et statistiques concernant le service des épileptiques et des enfants idiots et arriérés de Bicêtre, la situation de ce service en 1859, 1878 et 1880, les modifications apportées, le mouvement de la population. La deuxième partie, intitulée Clinique, est constituée de huit articles de Bourneville et d'Ollier (observations les plus intéressantes observées à Bicêtre durant l'année 1880) :- Note sur la maladie bleue ; de la température centrale dans cette maladie ; - Note sur un cas de crétinisme avec myxoedème (cachexie pachydermique) ; - Un idiot jeûneur ; - Note sur un cas d'hystérie chez un garçon de 13 ans ; - Recherches sur l'action physiologique et thérapeutique du bromure d'éthyle dans l'épilepsie ; - Epilepsie, délire, idées de suicide, mort par érysipèle? ;,- Atrophie partielle de l'hémisphère cérébral gauche ; - hémiplégie droite? ; - Idiotie, gâtisme?.
