Zingmagazine is a contemporary art magazine composed of curatorial projects founded in 1995 by artist Devon Dikeou. Zing began as a quarterly, black-and-white magazine. Its first issue contained projects by Kenny Schachter, Gordon Tapper, Ed Web, Gregory Volk, Donald Fergusson, Michael Corris, Amy Sillman, and Susan Robinson, and ran about 100 pages. EB; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.

Great graphics, die cuts, artistic and eclectic articles, the most memorable being Giasco Bertoli's photographic study of Italian church wooden confessional structures "In a Year of 13 Moons (1978)". "Rock My World is a show curated by Pauline Daly and Brendan Quick. They went out for three-and-a-half years and this is probably their last chance to be nice and civil with each other. (.) Invading a former plush Greene Street gallery, Schachter took down the velvet ropes that had kept visitors from the storerooms and offices. Art went everywhere: Rachel Harrison presented a collection of used tampons in the pristine print drawers. Schachter sold sandwiches, had a row of bus seats installed and kept the doors open seven days a week.
