Illustrated throughout with black-and-white images of tools - shovels, pulley blocks, clamps, vises, screwdrivers and many more. Each black-and-white illustration of a tool is accompanied by a table that gives a catalogue number and its weight; some tables include length, diameter, or other physical dimensions as well. Original covers are protected by plain brown paper wrappers. Original front cover bears cataloging information written in both pen and pencil; first page bears a stamp with date (September 29, 1914) indicating its date of receipt by a catalogue library. Pages have begun to separate from the binding, at both the first and second staples. Heavy foxing to gutters on pages 30-32 becomes much lighter yellowing in gutters of preceding pages. Other than stamp on first page, pages are clean and free of any pen, pencil or ink markings. The Dicke Tool Company, a tool manufacturer, was based in Downers Grove, Illinois. $25.
