Fine colour reproductions of Dellschau's designs throughout. Mild shelf wear, very good. A wonderful study of this Prussian-American visionary artist. Unknown in his lifetime, twelve of his workbooks were discovered in the 1960s and gradually caught the attention of the art world. Dellschau's work appears to have been completed in the last few decades of his life and presents a wealth of drawings, watercolours and collages of fantastical designs for vehicles. Many of these are airborne, being planes and airships, curiously often designed in the pre-flight era.…
