The work discusses the Colleys of Wigland, Bickerton, Iscoyd, and Cuddington, ancestors of the Churton Heath line, with references to neighbouring Cheshire, Flintshire, and Shropshire families. The volume preserves records and histories of Churton Heath, Horton Hall, Tarvin, Eccleston, Eaton, and the Boat House near Eaton Hall, with particular attention to the family"s 17th and 18th century property and marriages.
