In 1982, he relocated to the Dallas area to become Business Administrator for his mother's church, which included a Bible College and other outreaches. In 1989, Darrell remarried and became the owner of the Queen of Hearts Costume and Magic Shop in Plano, Texas, which has enjoyed great success since 1982. Darrell's story is about a man who achieved much success, while enduring many physical problems throughout his life. Winning his battle with cancer inspired him to share his journey in the hope that he can encourage others.
