Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. 1st Edition. FAIRY TALE WORLD OF ARTHUR RACKHAM ONCE UPON A TIME 1972 1ST MARGERY DARRELL EDITOR. If you are a collector of the fantastic illustrations of Arthur Rackham (and many are!), you may want to have this book as another reference point for your collection. Please find: Once Upon a Time- The Fairy Tale World of Arthur Rackham edited by Margery Darrell. This medium-sized hard cover book (7 ¾ x 9 ¼ inches, 296 pages) was published by The Viking Press of New York as a Studio Press, dated 1972 and a First Edition. The book is bound in etched gold paper boards with a quarter spine in black cloth with gilt titles on the spine and protected by pictorial dust jacket. This book brings together a group of classic textswith their illustrations by Arthur Rackham (please see the photo of the Table of Contents). Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket, however, had a long tear down the front cover (now inexpertly repaired with common magic tape.) There is also some wear to the edges of the dust jacket and generally to the finish. The hard covers are clean and bright with some light bumping to the lower corners and some fading to the last 1/8 of an inch of the spine. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout, without any toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
